Sorry for the slightly grainy picture quality - I need a better light source at my desk, but I’m loving the used document camera I just grabbed from eBay! I had to give it a test run.

Here’s the transcription of the handwritten text (omitting the title):

Hi, friends! Today, right before I hit the pause button to begin writing this, I was watching the latest episode of the Danny Jones podcast on YouTube. Now, I’m not the biggest fan of Danny’s personality or interview style, but he manages to land some incredible guests and manages to let them talk and get out what they have to say. He also has a good poker face and is willing to hear folks out on some outlandish stuff, even if he doesn’t always necessarily agree or subscribe to what they’re selling.

Today’s guest was of particular interest to me because he is directly linked to The Monroe Institute and Bob Monroe (both which I touched on briefly in yesterday’s page of stream-of-consciousness scrawl). His name is Tom Campbell. He is a long-time physicist best known for his heady, consciousness-focused trilogy of books called My Big T.O.E. (Theory of Everything). As the title suggests, is is his best attempt at presenting a unified view of everything in physics: general relativity, Newtonian (the long-prevailing model) and the barely-century-old quantum model of physics.

This man knows very well what he’s talking about—he worked closely with Bob Monroe before TMI was founded (that’s how the Institute’s name is commonly abbreviated). And as he mentioned in the podcast, the work that he did with Bob directly led to TMI’s creation. He speaks of consciousness as a single, unified field and describes each of our human points of view within it as “individuated units of consciousness.”

With Monroe initially then later on his own, he learned to go out of body on command. By doing so, he was able to do something called bilocation—meaning that while his body was phsycially located here on Earth, relaxing sound asleep, his soul/spirit/whatever other name for “animating force” you like was engaging in wild adventures... somewhere else, not located within our everyday realm of spacetime. The craziest part is you can actually listen to recordings of Tom and Bob exploring higher levels of consciousness on YouTube. Whatever you make of it, it’s far too consistent across members of the “Explorer” team to be just a dream or some kind of a ruse.

I LOVE this stuff - consciousness, remote viewing, energy healing, astral projection, etc. I was purely a scientific materialist for decades thanks to my schooling—but now I happen to believe quite a few things that would have the average scientist calling for me to be shipped off to the “funny farm.” That line between genius and insanity? I tread like a tightrope walker. Y’all have a good night!
